Metaverse has suddenly become a major trending topic, even though the concept has been around for close to three decades.
COVID-19 has led people to do things remotely, spending a lot more time online and so the demand for ways to make online interactions more lifelike has increased.
We engage with people on the internet by texts, and video calls, metaverse aims to take this experience a notch higher. People can use different devices to move and communicate in a virtual environment.

Virtual concerts are also entering the metaverse. In 2021 millions of people watched the singer Ariana Grande virtually perform in a game - Fortnite.
The world’s biggest fashion companies have experimented with making virtual clothing that people’s avatars can wear in the metaverse. The potential of this emerging technology is limitless.
